Post events with Discord webhooks
Post community and civilian events to Discord channels with webhooks.
Webhooks post events from Statewide to a Discord channel. Open Admin, Webhooks. You need community.webhooks.
Add a webhook
- In Discord, open the channel's settings, then Integrations, Webhooks, and Copy Webhook URL.
- In Statewide, press Add Webhook.
- Pick the Event and paste the Discord Webhook URL.
- Optionally add a Discord role ID to mention.
Each webhook posts one event to one channel. Add more webhooks for more events or channels. A community can have 50.
Events
| Group | Events |
|---|---|
| Community | Member Joined, Member Left, Member Kicked, Member Banned, Application Submitted, Application Decided, Audit Log |
| Civilian | Character Created, Character Deleted, Vehicle Registered, Vehicle Deleted, Firearm Registered, Firearm Deleted |
Events marked "coming soon" in the picker can't be chosen yet.
Health
The Health column shows OK, Failing with a count, Off, or Disabled after 20 failures with the last error. A webhook turns itself off after 20 failed deliveries in a row; fix the channel and turn it back on.
Row actions
- Send Test posts a test message.
- Recreate Webhook: paste a new webhook URL from Discord. Statewide deletes the old webhook in Discord so its URL stops working. Use this if the URL may have leaked.
- Delete Webhook: Statewide stops posting. The webhook stays in Discord; delete it there too.
