Create a community

Create your community, copy its join key and start the guided setup.

You need a linked Discord account. Start on My communities (app.statewide.gg/portal, also in the avatar menu).

  1. Press Create Community.
  2. Enter a Name (what members see), a Slug (the short name in your addresses, such as statewide-rp) and a Timezone (defaults to yours).
  3. The Community Created dialog shows your join key once. Press Copy Join Key. You can make a new one later from Members.
  4. Press Continue To Setup to start the guided setup.

Limits

  • A slug is 3 to 32 lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. A few words are reserved. A taken slug suggests another: if statewide is taken, Statewide suggests statewide-rp.
  • You can create up to three communities an hour.
