Give awards
Create named awards for a department or the whole community, and give them to members.
An award is a named recognition, like "Medal of Valor" or "Lifesaving Commendation".

On CMS, Training, add an award with a name and a description, and choose whether it belongs to one department or The whole community.
Give an award
Press Give Award and pick the Award, the member to Give to, and a Reason. Given awards show on the member's profile, with their department and reason, newest first, and in the roster's Awards column.
- Nobody can give an award to themselves, or remove one they were given.
- A department award goes to a member of that department.
- A department head gives or removes awards only for members below their own rank, never for the owner or an admin.
Removing an award from a member records the removal. Deleting an award deletes it and every time it was given.
