Raise and clear a panic
Press PANIC to call for help at once, acknowledge someone else's panic, and clear it.
Panic calls every unit to you at once. It fires with no confirm.
Raise a panic
Press PANIC or Ctrl+Alt+P. Statewide:
- creates a priority 1 call, "Officer panic", at your last known location, attaches you as primary (detaching you from any other call) and sets your status to Panic;
- shows a flashing banner on every MDT in your community with your callsign, name, department, location, postal, the time since the panic and the call number;
- plays the panic tone every 4 seconds, at full volume whatever the master volume in Settings.
If you're offline the button reads SENDING and retries every second. After 30 seconds it reads "PANIC NOT SENT. USE RADIO."
Acknowledge a panic
Press ACK (Ctrl+Alt+A) to silence your own screen. The banner stays until the panic is cleared.
Clear a panic
Hold CLEAR PANIC for 3 seconds, or press Ctrl+Alt+P again and confirm. Your previous status comes back, and the call notes the clear. The unit's own user, or anyone with units.manage_any, can also press Clear on the banner.
