Report abuse
Report a community page that breaks the Content Policy, and what happens when moderators act.
Every public page has a report link in its footer. It opens Report Abuse for that page. Reports go to Statewide's platform moderators, not to the community's staff, and are reviewed against the Content Policy.
- Pick a Reason: Spam or scam, Hate or harassment, Illegal content, Impersonation, or Other.
- Add Details, 10 to 2,000 characters.
- If you're signed out, you can leave an Email for follow-up.
- Press Send Report.
You can send five reports an hour.
What moderators can do
- Take down a public site: the community's public pages stop showing within about a minute. Members keep their dashboard, and the owner sees the reason on Admin, Site.
- Suspend a community: members see that the community is suspended until the platform lifts it. The owner keeps access.
- Ban an account: the account is signed out everywhere and can't sign in. Communities it owns keep running.
