Statewide Docs

Brand the member area

Add your logo, accent, hub banner, welcome message and pinned links to the member area.

The member area is everything behind sign-in: the hub, departments, civilian records, the CMS, admin and the MDT. You can brand it, while its layout stays Statewide's.

Brand it

  1. Open Admin, then Branding. You need community.branding.
  2. In the Member area card, set what you need:
    • Accent: a coloured rule across the top of the header. Statewide default, Blue, Green, Amber, Red, Purple, Pink, Teal or Gray. Buttons keep Statewide's colours.
    • Hub banner: PNG or WebP, 1 MB max, about 4:1, above the hub's welcome.
    • Welcome message: shown under the banner on the hub. Up to 1,000 characters with bold, italic, links and paragraphs. HTML is removed.
    • Pinned links: up to eight on the hub. Each is a label (up to 40 characters) and an https:// address or a page of your community, such as /civilian or /community/apply.
  3. Press Save.

Your Logo and Favicon from Branding show in the member area's top bar and browser tab, as well as on your public site, sign-in card and emails.

What stays Statewide's

Layout, typography and the MDT are the same for every community, so the member area stays fully tested. The footer keeps a small "Runs on Statewide". Your site theme never changes the member area.

Its address depends on your custom domain. Members open each department's own page from My departments.
