Statewide Docs

Use your department's members page

Each department's members-only page with notices, department docs, a roster summary, open applications and quick links.

Each department has a page for its own members at /c/<community>/departments/<abbreviation>, such as /c/statewide-rp/departments/lspd. Open it from My departments in the member header.

Who can open it

  • Members with a current seat in the department, main or reserve. My departments lists each one, marking reserve seats Reserve. A suspended seat doesn't count.
  • Anyone with community.departments or roster.view_internal, who sees "You are viewing as staff."

Everyone else, and an unknown abbreviation, gets the same not found page, so it never confirms what a department posts.

What it shows

  • Header: the logo, name, a Members only tag and Your spot, such as 1A-12 · Sheriff · main department (with on LOA when it applies). Go on duty opens the MDT when the department has one and your seat is active. Manage LSPD opens the department in the CMS for heads and staff who can manage it.
  • Notices from department command, pinned first, then newest. A notice can expire and then disappears.
  • Department docs: documents visible to this department that you can read. A page limited to a subdivision shows Subdivision only and appears only for its members.
  • Roster: active and on-LOA counts and who is on LOA, not counting suspended seats. Open full roster goes to the CMS roster for staff and heads, or the public department page for everyone else.
  • Open in this department (Applications module on): forms you can apply to, marked Open or Closed. Heads who open and close forms, and anyone with applications.forms, see every one.
  • Quick links: up to six, opening in a new tab.

Department heads post the notices and links. See Post department notices.
