Map Discord roles

Heads link a rank or subdivision to a Discord role so members get it through Discord sync.

When the community has linked a Discord server, a Head can give department ranks and subdivisions a Discord role. Members then get it through Discord sync.

Allow roles first

Administration picks which Discord roles departments may use, under Admin, Discord, Roles departments may assign (up to 50). Roles above Statewide Bot's own role, managed roles, and roles with moderation or admin permissions are never offered.

Map a role

  1. Open your department from My departments, then Manage, then Department roles.
  2. Under Discord roles, pick a rank or subdivision and the Discord role it gives.

An empty list shows "Administration hasn't allowed any Discord roles for departments yet."

Let ranks run their department

Give a rank department permissions so its holders run their own department without a community-wide role.

Review department requests

Decide the applications and transfers waiting on your department from Manage, Review.
