Publish department pages
Give each department a public page with its banner, High Command and a rank-grouped roster.
Each public department gets a page on your public site at /departments/<abbreviation>, such as sites.statewide.gg/statewide-rp/departments/lspd. The abbreviation isn't case-sensitive.
Set up the page
- Open CMS, Departments, then the department.
- On the General tab, turn on Public. Hidden pages return not found.
- In the Public page shows card, pick what to show. They save at once:
- Roster: off leaves only the header and High Command.
- Subdivision and certification badges on each row.
- Promotion dates: when each member took their rank, or joined.
- Discord avatars on the High Command cards.
- Upload Banner takes a PNG or WebP, cropped to 1600 × 400 from the centre, 1 MB max after the crop. Remove goes back to a tint of the department colour.
What visitors see
- A header with the banner, logo, name and a line such as
LSPD · Law enforcement · 24 members · 3 reserves, then the department description. - High Command: a card for each member whose rank is marked Command.
- Roster: one section per rank, most senior first, in the rank's colour, with callsign, name, subdivisions, certifications and rank date. Members with no rank are listed last under "No rank". Reserves are listed below.
- Subdivision tabs, All plus one per subdivision, and a filter by name, callsign or rank.
- An Apply To LSPD button when the Applications module is on and the department has a form. Its other states are in the reference.
Rank colours
Set a colour per rank on the department's Ranks tab; Clear removes it. Without one, the page uses the mapped Discord role's colour ("Discord role color"), else a neutral border. A colour too low in contrast for the light or dark theme colours only the border and badge.
