Change community settings

Open Admin, General. Each card saves on its own with its own Save button, applies at once and writes one audit log entry listing only what changed.

• Joining: Join mode, Require a linked Discord account and Regenerate Join Key. See Joining.
• Civilian and DMV: per-member limits for characters, vehicles, firearms, open businesses and vehicles per business, the license points threshold, and the switches.
• MDT alert sounds: the default Note on my call sound and volume. See Community default.
• Roster: Callsigns come from the roster makes units pick their roster callsign at MDT sign-on.
• Auto-close idle calls: below.

LabelsCopy Anchor Link

State, County and City show on records, IDs and addresses. State abbreviation (optional, 2 or 3 letters) goes on plates and license cards. Return source names set the From label on lookup returns; blank uses MVD, NCIC and ALERT.

Require a linked Discord accountCopy Anchor Link

On by default. Members without a linked Discord account can't join or use the community until they link one on their account page. Turning it on removes nobody: they are asked to link the next time they do something.

Auto-close idle callsCopy Anchor Link

Set Minutes and a Disposition. Any pending or active call with no attached unit and no activity for that long closes with that disposition. Leave Minutes empty to turn it off.

Civilian and DMV switchesCopy Anchor Link

• DMV approval required for licenses and registrations (off by default)
• DMV approval required for new businesses (off)
• Civilians choose VINs and serials (on)
• Firearms require a certification (off). See Firearms.
