Make a domain primary or remove it
Choose which domain your links use, see where your member area lives, and remove a domain.
Once a domain is verified, your community's links move to it.
Where your pages live
- A Site or Both domain takes over your public site.
sites.statewide.gg/<slug>redirects to it. - Your member area follows the domain's kind. Admin, Domains shows its address at the top as Member area:
- A Both domain such as
example.com:example.com/app, with/appas the hub,/app/civilian,/app/departments/lspdand so on. Old root paths such as/dashboardand/civilianredirect there. The site editor can't make a page calledapp. - A CAD domain such as
cad.example.com: the root of that domain. - A Site domain, or none:
app.statewide.gg/c/<slug>.
- A Both domain such as
- Links, the Member area button and sign-in use that address, and the others redirect to it.
- The cross-community portal stays at
app.statewide.gg/portal, from the account menu.
Make a domain primary
When more than one verified domain covers the same pages, press Make Primary on the one to use. Only one domain is primary.
Remove a domain
- Choose Remove in the domain's menu.
- Type the hostname to confirm.
It stops serving your community within a minute. Links go to another verified domain of the same kind if you have one (the primary first), otherwise to the default address.
