Add blocks to a page
Add, arrange and fill the blocks a site page is made of, including live blocks and images.
Every site page is a stack of blocks. Each block has fields, never HTML or scripts, so a page can't break your site.
Add a block
- Open a page in the site editor.
- Press Add block and search the library of 39 blocks. The full list is in the reference.
- Fill in the block's fields on the right.
Each block can move up or down, Duplicate block, Delete block and be hidden on phones. Text uses a limited editor: bold, italic, links, lists and headings. Video takes a YouTube or Twitch link and shows a card that opens the video on its own site.
Live blocks
Blocks marked LIVE read your community's data each time the page loads, so the editor keeps only how the block looks. Change the data where it lives and the site follows without publishing again. Each live block names where its data is edited.
- The Roster block shows only roster sections set to show to members and on the public site.
- The Rules block shows a public document.
- A block that needs the Applications module shows nothing while that module is off; the editor says so.
Images
Upload image in a block or the theme takes a PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 5 MB. Statewide checks the file's type, size and contents before using it. Replace image swaps it. You can upload 60 images an hour.
