Build the community roster
A members-only roster of the whole community, built from sections you choose.
The community roster is one page for every member at /c/<slug>/roster, under Main, Community roster. It shows sections you build, such as department heads, each department, or everyone holding certain community roles. Signed-out visitors go to sign-in and non-members to the join page.
Members narrow it with the Department filter and Search (name or callsign).
Build the roster
Open Admin, Rosters. Until you save, it shows the default layout: Department heads (Head and Deputy head across departments), then one section per department.
For each section set:
- Title and Color.
- Source: Department, Department role across departments, or Community roles (members holding any ticked role).
- Visibility: Members, or Members and public to also show it in the public site's roster block.
- Display fields: Callsign, Rank, Title, Department, Certifications, Divisions, Reserve departments, Promotion date, Joined date and Discord avatar. Email and IP data are never a field.
Move Up, Move Down, Remove Section and Add Section shape the list. Press Save Layout.
Show it or hide it
Show the community roster to members controls the page. Off, members get a not-found page and Administration still sees it, marked "Hidden from members".
Edit on a row opens the seat in the roster editor, for staff who can edit that seat.
What else hides fields
- A department that turns Roster off on its public page settings shows only its command ranks, and its other switches hide certifications, promotion dates and avatars.
- A member who hides fields on their profile doesn't show them here. Members always see their own rows in full.
