Apply for licenses
Apply for, view and renew your character's licenses.
Open Civilian, then Licenses. The table lists each character's licenses with type, number, class, status, issue and expiry dates and points.
Apply
On Apply for a license, pick the Character and a license type. Each type says how it is issued:
- Issued instantly: valid at once.
- Requires DMV review: goes to the DMV queue.
- Issued by a department: always waits for that department's clerks.
Types with classes ask for a Class, and some offer Endorsements. A character can hold one license of each type, and only alive characters can apply.
Whether a license needs DMV review depends on the type and on your community's DMV approval required for licenses and registrations setting, which is off by default.

Statuses
Pending, Valid, Denied, Suspended, Revoked or Expired. Denied, suspended and revoked licenses show the reason.
Renew
Renew opens 30 days before a license expires, and stays open once it has expired. Starter license types don't expire. A renewal can need DMV review just like a new application.
