Restore an earlier version

See every published revision of a document, restore an older one, or delete a page.

Each publish saves a new revision, so you can always go back.

Restore a revision

  1. Open the page and choose History, or Compare or restore versions in the editor's side panel.
  2. The list shows each revision's author, date and the lines added and removed. View revision N opens one.
  3. Press Restore. It copies that revision into a new one, so history only grows and older revisions stay readable.

Pages written in Markdown before the editor existed open converted the first time you edit them. Their old revisions stay as they were.

Delete a page

Delete Page removes the page and every revision. Type the page title to confirm. It can't be undone.
