Run call timers

Start shared countdown and count-up timers on the dispatch board, on a call, a unit or on their own.

The Timers strip on the dispatch board holds timers shared live by every dispatcher.

Start a timer

  1. Press + Timer or T.
  2. Enter a label, up to 40 characters.
  3. Attach it to the selected call, to a unit, or to nothing.
  4. Choose Count down from 00:10 up to 12:00:00 (type mm:ss, h:mm:ss or plain minutes), or Count up.
  5. Press Ctrl+Enter.

Work a timer

A chip shows LABEL 04:12 with a down arrow for a countdown, an up arrow for a count-up, and a pause mark while paused. With a chip focused, Space pauses or resumes and Delete removes it. Its menu also restarts and renames it.

Good to know

  • At zero a countdown's chip flashes (steady with reduced motion) and the Timer expired sound plays once on each open board. Reloading doesn't replay an old expiry.
  • Timers on a call or unit are removed when the call closes or the unit signs off.
