Send tones

Play a tone to chosen units, departments or groups from the dispatch board.

Dispatchers with tones.send (the Dispatcher role has it) see a Tones button on the dispatch board.

Send a tone

  1. Press Tones and pick a Tone: Alert Tone 1, 2 or 3, Structure Fire, Medical or All Call.
  2. Under Play to, press All, LEO or Fire/EMS, or add units and departments. At least one target is needed.
  3. Set Repeat (1 to 5 times) and every 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 seconds.
  4. With a call selected, you can tick Note it on call and add a note of up to 200 characters. It lands on the call as a system note.
  5. Press Send or Ctrl+Enter.

With no tone you see "Pick a tone"; with no target, "Pick at least one unit, department or group".

Good to know

Only targeted units hear the tone, and they see a message naming it and who sent it. Their own Tone received volume applies, and Off silences it for them.

Type short commands to create calls, attach units and set statuses from the dispatch and LEO boards.

Run call timers

Start shared countdown and count-up timers on the dispatch board, on a call, a unit or on their own.
